Description
A filter that generates star pentagon packings using 2 colors or images for the tiles. To use set Seed1-Seed 2-Pentagon to 1 (or 2).. This will show the shape of seed 1 (or 2) and the area of the image which it will use for tiling. You can then use the Left-Right, Up-Down, Scale Seed & Rotate Seed contols to find the part of the image you want to use for the tile. After that, set Seed1-Seed2-Pentagon to 3 and your pattern will appear. Color Shift = 50 is no color change. Tile Rotate = 7 is no rotation. For large images, it works well to size your output by File / New Image making the background transparent and the image square. Thanks to SpaceRay for the original idea.
