This kaleidoscope pattern generator can create simple patterns or complex patterns, such as you choose. Importing your own images instead of using the built-in images really opens up the possibilities. Lots of controls lets you tweak the patterns endlessly. Note that the built-in "Variation" control only works if the "Distortoscope" is checked. There are endless tweaks without it anyway.
