Description
A tiling filter with kaleidoscope like effects. The filter consists of mostly semi-regular tiles and a couple of variants of the snub hexagonal tiling. To use turn on the View Tile Seed? checkbox. This will show the shape of the seed and the area of the image which it will use for tiling. You can then use the Left-Right, Up-Down, Scale Seed & Rotate Seed contols to find the part of the image you want to use for the tile. After that, uncheck the View Tile Seed? checkbox and your tile pattern will appear. You can change the shape of the result by checking or unchecking Square Tile. This will make the 12, 6 or 3 sided tiles into a square result. You can create smaller tiles by changing the Number of Half Tiles. NOTE: Do not enable Seamless Tiling for this filter. It will alter the output! The tiles output by this filter are seamless if the Number of Half Tiles is set to an even number and Square Tile is checked. Tile Types: 1 - Trihexagonal 2 - Truncated square, hex variation 3 - Truncated square, square variation 4 - Truncated hexagonal 5 - Rhombitrihexagonal 6 - Elongated triangular 7 - Snub square 8 - Truncated trihexagonal 9 - Snub hexagonal variant 1 10 - Snub hexagonal variant 2
