Description
A filter to add a hatch pattern to an image with 3, 2 or 1 angles of hatch. Cross hatching is also possible with the 2 and 3 angle hatch patterns. Number of Stripes - Hatch density. Engrave Type - 1: Lightness 2: HSB 3: Contour. Hatch Variation - 1-6: 3 angle hatches, 7-8: 2 angle hatches, 9: 1 angle hatch (useful for portraits). Hatch Rotation - Rotates the hatch pattern. Hatch Lightness - Hatch lightness. Hatch Range - Defines the brightness range for each angle hatch. If Range 2 is greater than Range 1 you get cross hatching. Highlight and Shadow Adjust - Adjust the curvature of the hatch. Low values usually produce too much curve, but experimentation is necessary to find good values. Hatch Squash - Useful to reduce over curvature in some images, 50 turns this off. Using Engrave Type 9 with Hatch Rotation near 50 is good for portraits.
