Description
Takes the traditional cutout filter to another level… by allowing the number of colors to be varied over different ranges within the image. If desired the ten layers of cutouts can be stacked with shadows. Various channels with or without derivatives can be used to define the color “cells” used for the reduced color scheme. This includes Hue, Saturation, & Brightness. Channel Variation is 1 - Derivative (follows contours) 2 - Derivative extreme 3 - Regular channel Shadow Distance & Shadow Direction define the shadow that is underneath each of the ten stacked layers of cutouts. If Shadow Distance is set to 0 shadows are turned off & the filter is a traditional cutout filter. Number of Colors defines the nunber of colors within the specific range of that slider, from high intensity 1 to low intensity 10.
