Description
This filter repeatedly masks those parts of the photo that match the selected color ( similar to a Chroma Key ) and shrinks, rotates and merges the masked image with the original.A typical usage would be to input a photo of a few leaves in front of a solid green background and use green as the mask color to create the effect of many leaves receding into the distance.The mask colors of the first eight presets are White, Green, Blue, Red, Black, Yellow, Cyan and Magenta.This filter is the complement of Repeat and Recede using Color Match, the difference being that this filter repeats everything that does not match the selected ( mask )color. In practice the two filters have different applications, this filter can accurately repeat a wider variety of object. For best results prep the image in Photoshop by selecting the elements that should be repeated, inverting the selection and filling the new inverted selection with a solid color such as Chroma Green.
