Description
Cat paths is a 2D grid-based pattern generator that mainly makes patterns that look like sets of paths woven under and over one another.Controls include those for the width of the paths (expressed as percent of grid squaze size, including border) and border width (expressed as percent of path width). There is also a curve separtion control; here higher numbers cause the two curved segments in a grid square to shy away from one another. Large values for curve separation don't look all that good, and there are also some problems with combinations of large path width and border width.Chance/probability can be given for three types of grid squares: straight (with crossing horizontal and vertical paths), curved, and intersection (with meeting horizontal and vertical paths).v1.1 adds the ability to give the paths a 3D tubelike appearance.v1.2 makes the inputs a bit more friendly to randomized values.
