A simple texture generator for tattered rags, shredded cloth, maybe even tree bark. The noise itself doesn't look like much, but real magic happens when you use it as a displacement map – which is why this had to be a surface filter. The first preset uses AO to exaggerate the richness of height detail that one can achieve.Noise Lab (tm) is a series of noise "snippets" that demonstrate essential techniques for custom noise construction. Now in component group format for easy re-use in your own filters. Enjoy!
