Description
This filter will fix the light patches in blotchy baby skin without blurring. Infants have thin skin, which can cause uneven skin tone in portraits; this filter evens out the skintone by addressing the light areas.Start with crazy hue/sat/lightness settings- like bright green- to visualize the size and location of the patches you want to adjust. You'll need to mask out the highlight areas of the photo, so you don't fix parts that don't need fixing. Once you've got your problem areas highlighted, you can reset the hue, saturation, and lightness values to 50 each, to get back to your original photo. At this point, slight changes in the hue, saturation, and lightness values will smooth out the tone of the skin. When you're done, adjust your master opacity to keep it looking realistic.
