Description
This filter is designed to smooth the skin based upon the method of Joel Grimes.It makes a soft and fair skin without loosing the details of the skin and also amazing abstract effects.-Always use a duplicate layer to apply this filter!-The filter generates a skin-mask based upon the red-channel. The mask can be tweaked by using the mask-related-sliders. The sliders/checkboxes in detail:Smoothing, Details and Skin Contrast define the smoothing of the skin, the preserved details and the brightness and contrast.The Mask-Sliders (White Point, Black Point and Gamma) are used to tweak the auto-generated skin-mask. With "Mask (on/off)" you can disable the mask, if you want to smooth the entire image (and do the masking in Photoshop)."View Mask" and "Preview Skin Area" are used for preview purposes while defining the mask.Use Mask Threshold, Smooth and Blurr to tweak the mask furtherThe Sharpening-Sliders only affect the non-smoothed areas of the image.
