Filter Forge 14 adds a Text component to the Advanced category in Filter Editor. You can specify a custom text string in the component parameters, its size, font face and alignment: it will be rendered as a bitmap that you can further process with other components.
To ensure the filter text looks the same on different platforms and OS versions, Filter Forge doesn't use system fonts but ships with several freely available fonts. To use your custom fonts, add them to the Fonts folder under the Filter Forge installation folder.
Note that you cannot submit arbitrary text into the Filter Library – all user text strings will be replaced by 'Filter Forge' to prevent abuse.
