YES!! This is the same idea I suggested to Morgantao on the original source of this filter thread

I have another possible idea, and is the feature, option and ability to change the well done grey cement wall behind the tiles for your own images, so it could be like the "tiles" that makes this side of the universe is breaking down and shows in the back another different universe or dimension

And here is the answer from Morgantao

Right now you can control the color\image of the tiles, and the color of the cement (and how rough it is.
I made this filter with FF2.0, so there's no multi-image support.

I can upload a new version for FF3.0 which will allow for 2 different images.

Here is one beautiful example that shows the great and well done work of uberzev, and also the very good added image option of Morgantao and making it an even better filter

The tiles looks very realistic.

I think that if it could be possible to change the grey cement of the broken tiles for your own images, one idea I had is that it could be a photo of a computer case and through the broken parts you could put some motherboard photos so this could be like the interior of the case, or the back part of the skin of the computer case.

LOL, SpaceRay, I was refering to the fact you could change the color of the cement and the roughness with the controls.
Instead, you went all FF3.0 on my filter and did what I was gonna upload today smile:D

Why use a color control 2009 when you can have the new color control that allows to put image sources?

Yes, I know, this is because is a FF 2.0 filter.

I have ONLY replaced the color control 2009 for the new one, nothing else.

If you have a better way that would let show the background image better and have the option to not be like cement, would be good. I would do it, but it is your filter.

By the way the "magic" behind making the broken cement effect is to load a cracked texture image in the color control

This one here is the one I have used to make the effect above that looks great

This is a great texture. I've seen you use it in other filters too, and it never fails smile:)
I like the concrete example you have on the last two examples. They work very well togather.

Hey Morgan. Sorry I am so late posting on this filter. I love what this does.

Here is the original pic.

Now with your filter.( I know how to make color cement. smile:dgrin: )

And then I aged it all up with Genes Abstract Grunge

I will use this a lot to make lovely "primitive" crafts. Great job!

Now I am off to try your double picture version of this.

Mardar congratulations for your AGED and very well done result from the original to the final result. Good idea to use Genes filter too, as this gives the prefect touch.

Thanks SpaceRay.

Morgan, is there a chance for a 3rd version with an aging option built in? Just a suggestion. smile;)

Sure, if Gene allows it smile;)
Be aware though, sometimes it's much better to use two filters than one filter that does both things.

Anyway, I LOOOVE that rooster broken aged tile image! Looks SO good! smile:)

Morgan ... You are welcome to use my filter is you want, but I do agree with you, two filters may be a better way to go. My filter is slower than I would like it to be, and I think adding it would slow yours down too much. Hate to see a really good filter messed up .......

I have made a suggestion for the double image version of this filter, and would be good also to have it in this filter too

Read my suggestion here

Would this be possible or would slow down the filter and would be better and faster to use separate filters?
