I have seen this lovely collage compositions made with Words in different sizes and make them like if they are tiles in a floor.
![]() I know and have tried that you can import words inside Filter Forge as shown here ![]() But really do not know how would it be possible to build this into a tiled typograhy pattern. Here is another example ![]() and one more ![]() |

I will make some texts in Photoshop and they will try to put them inside Filter Forge in some way to be able to get this above.
ALthough I think that is important to know how to control the spacing between the words too I have put this thread also Please, How to control the SPACING between particles in Bomber FF 3.0? Although probably the bomber is not the best component for this, and would really be better to use the tiles component, do not know yet. |

I think that for making this is the SAME problem as it happens with the other Typographic design texture I have put in the thread above this post
http://filterforge.com/forum/read.php?FID=10&TID=9529 I think that this is NOT possible with the actual bomber as it based mainly in Square results in grids that are defined in layers inside the Bomber, but the particles are not controlled in a way that you can measure the SPACING between them and is really something random. I wish I and hope that I would be wrong and would be cool if someone could put a snippet or filter to show that this IS POSSIBLE. |

Nope to difficult to put whole words in FF...You would need to do something without the bomber....then maybe effects for each individual image...such as the rotating, scaling, texture effect, etc....With alphas you can use the multi-blend component...
![]() ![]() I was also thinking about a script where you could put images in a folder and have FF access that folder, then use the images in that folder for a filter..But....I think Lua in FF does not yet support bit-maps...Then the filter cannot be submitted since it would be un-safe script.(accessing the users computer)....... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Thanks CFandM for your answer and suggestions, Yes, I agree and you are right that for making this is NOT possible to use the bomber. I have been trying at least 4 ways to do it, but none of them have worked, although I have not tried what you are suggesting.
Thanks for thinking on this alternative, and would be good, but as you say, If LUA does not support graphics, would not be possible.
Well if it would be possible to make BUT not be able to send it to the library would also be OK, I would keep it for me, or if possible share it here in the forum if this does not goes against the rules. |

I have been looking for tutorials for making this kind of pattern in Photoshop and the only one I found is these two
http://blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/tutor...ter-design http://www.tutorial9.net/tutorials/ph...wallpaper/ and they make ALL by hand ONE BY ONE, each and every one of the text are handwritten in the computer, AND then have to position, scale, rotate and make the measurements all by yourself ![]() ![]() I know and agree that I have to write the text and make the words, and this is not the problem, I am not searching for a word generator, but what I do not want is to position, rotate, measure the space, scale, etc. for one by one of the words. The words can be real text (which in FF is not possible) or font images in JPG or PNG |

I have just seen and noticed that the above patterns ARE SEAMLESS !!! Sorry I did not notice before
![]() THIS EXAMPLE ABOVE HAS BEEN DONE MANUALLY ??? ![]() I have put in the previous post some tutorial to make this manually and I agree that this would not be so difficult to make it manually taking some time BUT HOW would you do the above example MANUALLY BY HAND and position one by one EACH of the words and be able to make THE PATTERN SEAMLESS ???? ![]() ![]() THIS ABOVE EXAMPLE IS A SEAMLESS PATTERN ![]() ![]() There something MORE important, misterious and suspicious, HOW can you make MANUALLY and placing each word by hand to make A SEAMLESS PATTERN ????? ![]() This is why I believe that there must be some kind of software making for this that can be able to make this SEAMLESS pattern, and this is WHY I though first on Filter Forge Please, if like me, you have not seen that this is a seamless pattern, look again to the very first example in this post to show that this is a SEAMLESS PATTERN so I doubt much that this is made by hand position each one of the words |

The major downside of using Taxedo is you can't save as vectors (SVG).
In some of the other word clouds you can actually save SVG files that are scalable vectors, so you don't lose quality when zooming or resizing, and you can make selections very easily (So you don't have black holes in the O's, R's, D's, etc...). One thing I know for sure, Taxedo is by far the most customizable word cloud generator, and if they will offer an offline version, I'll probably buy it, no questions asked ![]() |

YES, is true that it can´t save in vector format, BUT you can always convert the final result INTO vector format if you own Adobe Illustrator (I do not have it) as you can see in this video here below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KfltVCwA_s Look after the minute 4:00 to see how the Word cloud is converted to vectors.
YES, I agree with you, from all the ones I have seen (about 6 of them) the Tagxedo is by far the best one, ALTHOUGH I have just found a new one that I have NOT tried yet and seems to be powerful too Look at this one here ---> http://www.mosaizer.com/Wordaizer/ |
