That is simply beautiful. cfree68, could you provide some detail about the steps, etc? (Modeling, rendering, FF filter order, Photoshop layering, whatever?)

Morganato nails it with the observation of "before : CGI :: after : hand-drawn"...

I doubt I'm alone when I say I'd love to know more about your process

I turned my CG-filmify effect into a filter, not sure why I never thought to do that before. Its the part of the tutorial that has to do with taking a muddy or even toned image and creating some film bloom and contrast. Should show up in the filters in a day or so.
