nice. without too much tweaking you could probably also make a particle/pressed wood texture.

If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

This filter use "stones noise" component.
According to images on a web, particle/pressed woods consist of random directional rectangles.
It was difficult to create by noise component only.
I think it needs some rotation components like bomber.

cool. i like the texture of it, but that orangish color seems a bit off. maybe more blondish or add a color control to it?

Thank you for reply.

I had submitted update version of my "Particle Wood Texture".
In this version, I changed a color of particles and added input color options.
Additionally, render speed was improved twice or more.

Please wait until this filter is updated
