+1!
A simple batch function in FF would be awesome. Also a 'render selected maps' function to go with it. (diffuse, bump, normal) |

If there an error, the batch render window close and see the error cause is too difficult if not impossible.
May be is important improvement the feedback batchrender-filtermakers. Thanks To bit or not to bit |

I think a simplified batch function would be good.
Not sure I totally like the idea of random presets though. That would make it just too easy for those who do nothing but render textures to sell on renderosity and places like that. |

Textures for 3D Movies, 3D and 2D Games, Second Life, Pósters, Graphic Design, Márketing, Publicity, etc. etc. etc.
I hope Filter Forge spirit is to use the program in all themes and works, not only a game to make funny textures, but to work in serious uses too. The batch render is esential to this task. Photoshop, Cinema 4D and many professional softwares use effective and easy to use batch renders. Filter Forge today no. To bit or not to bit |

I think random presets would be great. It would be very handy to leave the machine rendering at night and pick those results that are pleasing in the morning.
I don't see anything wrong with that. |

If you have Mac OS X, I have a batch renderer that works really well.
http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...5&TID=7051 And that's why I have an interesting note, the FF2 batch renderer is way faster than the FF2.app to render. I've done some long runs (50 or 100) renders and those are much faster to render than rendering in the app, specially if you have AO enabled in the preset. But AO is used in the final render. I've been doing doors for my map making in FF, batched them out in 50 batches. They look really neat I think. ![]() - I never expected the Spanish inquisition |
