i need high and low limits on the 'value control' control. all you can currently remap is the multiplier. i need to be able to stop the value, when remapping, at a certain high or a certain low. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

i dont really think any are necessary, uber. the current value control control is essentially limitless in both the positive and negative range. that is, you can move the dial limitlessly in the main gui as far as you want in either direction. i'd like a re-mapping on this to keep it within a range or even to just limit one side, positive or negative. i'll give you the for instance i just used it on, though. if you plug the value control into the 'scale' component and plug the value control control into the 'scale' node, there is no way to keep this from just going nuts either way too high or way too low. i'd simply like to be able to put a stop on one or both sides to control that effect. seems like an obvious thing to me, especially with something like the 'scale' component. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Then why not use the slider control?
You can use remapping on the slider control, and set the min\max values you want. The slider control will still be 0-100 in the main view, but remapped to whatever you need (negative and positive). |
