Resizable panes

I wish the various windows/panes of the main UI were resizable. I'm surprised FF doesn't already have this seemingly-basic UI control.

For example, I'd like to be able to click on the right edge of the "Categories & Filters" pane, and drag it towards the right, making that whole pane wider.

I'd also like to change the width of the Categories pane, there's a lot of unused whitespace there. Also would help for the Editor preview size wish, I think.

I'd like use Filter Forge on my dual-monitor setup, but if I resize the app to span across both monitors, only the Preview pane gets larger... the Categories/Filters and Filter Settings panes both stay the same width as they were on a single monitor.

I'm surprised no one has asked for this. Here are related requests in the wiki, but it seems to me these could be solved by adding pane-resize controls:

This was already suggested in September 2007 and in September 2011 is still not added to Filter Forge becuase there is no way to resize each window pane, only the whole window and as you say if you have a very big monitor, 24 to 30 inch this is loosing much and is missing many things not being able to customize the user interface and make it bigger to you liking in a resizable options panes.
