How to use FF to get DROSTE effects like this 32 nice ones shown here?

Hello, I have just found this article compilation about 32 beautiful and well done image optical illusions made using the Droste Effect

I have found that there is available this Droste Spiral by Egret filter that is to be able to do this.

Please, could be possible to know how to use this in the best way to get similar effects than the ones shown in the article link above ?

What is the best way to prepare a photo to be used with this FF filter ?

I can´t use any photo or image that is square, rectangular or have any kind of frame, because then you a bad cut rectangular frame all over the image(as you can see also in the preset of the filter) and it seems that it only works on isolated images that have a transparent background behind and does not touch the border of the photo, so must have like a transparent frame around.

Is this then the only way to be able to get this effect ?

Should I then prepare the photo with a transparent frame all around the photo I want to use to create this effect in Filter Forge ?

I have found why the Droste Spiral of Filter forge does not give the same options and kind of images as shown above, because the Droste Effect is MUCH more complex than what is available in the FF filter.
