Hello,
I am thinking that soon I will probably buy the Filter Forge Library Backup from the FF store, BUT as it has more than 8500 filters, Do you have to install ALL the filters inside the Filter Forge Library to be able to use it ? I do not want to have every single filter published inside my filter forge library, and as there is still no way to organized and customize the library it would be a really difficult to find the filter you want. So, Please, is there any way that after buying the FF Library I could be able to install the filters I would really want and make a selective install and not the full whole and complete collection? Would be possible to use the Filter Library Browser inside FF to choose the filters I want and the ones I do not want ? Thanks very much |

Yes, unless you know the IDs of the filters you need.
To my opinion this is an improbable scenario: your can write down filter IDs, get the filter library backup, remove all other filters except the required ones, and follow the instructions on restoring the backup. I think if you need less than a half of the library filters you'd better make the backup yourself. |

I was decided to buy the Library, BUT if you can´t choose what filters you want to install, I will not buy it again.
I bought already the FF 2.0 library, but is really useless for me as I can´t use it because I can sel ect the filters I want to install and NOT ALL. The best solution could be probably to BUY the library fr om FF and then install all the filters inside FF Library and USE THE INTERNAL FF FILTER BROWSER THE CHOOSE the ones you want to keep and delete the others, OR directly select in the FF browser all the ones that you want to delete, and instead of having ONLY the "download" button you could have a "delete" selected button. BUT A THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE and do not know if FF will change and update the FF Browser in FF 4.0 I have found another better solution to this that is already available now. As you can´t buy the FF library and use the FF browser to select the filters, YOU CAN MAKE IT, if you use the already available FF online library SO I have decided to use the FF Filter Browser and go to EACH category and see ALL the available filters for that category and select all the ones I could like and find good and useful, and then after click on download, and I have choosen probably 800 filters on one category and do not have to download them one by one. I am sorry that there is no easy way to BUY the library and select the filters you want to install, OR install ALL and be able to select the filter you do NOT want and delete them. |
