Could there be a reward called UP (User´s Pick) ? or FFFUP ?

There is already the reward of an EP (Editor´s Pick) but I suposse that the only judge to give an EP is from someone (or a group of persons from FF inc.) and is not by FF users.

And after searching for information for EP in the forum I have had the idea that would be good that FF users could also be able to choose and give rewards to filters that they like that are not created by themselves.

Perhaps there could be a way to vote, nominate, select, or any other way to give a filter a reward made by the filter forge users to thank the great work done on an specific filters they love and like very much and consider that is a great thing that makes FF go UP and keeps it growing and growing and also it would give and UPlift to the populaity of the filter and reward the very well work done by the author given by filter forge community and not only by FF Inc.

UP (User´s Pick)

So I thought of giving the name of UP (User´s Pick) to give even more reward, move UP the motivation, UP stimulate the author and encourage to keep making wonderful filters.

Also thought of the following names

UR---------> User´s Reward

FFFUP -----> Filter Forge Forum User´s Pick

FFUP ------> Filter Forge User´s Pick

FFUCR -----> Filter Forge User´s Community Reward ( But this may be a bad name )

In case is not possible to make this in the Filter Forge Library we could also use Kraellin idea to make one User´s Pick in the forum

There could be a thread that ONLY contains links to filter forge filter with a thumbnail without additional comments, and another threads for commenting only those specially rewarded filters.

Another thing is that to be able to give a UP reward you would need to be registered in the forum and could only give just one UP to each filter and can´t be given to any of your own filters.

Yes, the HU (High Usage) reward is a given by the high popularity and because this filter has been used very often. BUT is not the same as what I am suggesting, is true that this could be redundant, but not always, and perhaps some of us prefer much other filters that have not a HU reward and like much more than this HU rewarded filter, but regretably what we like much more is not as popular as other.

Perhaps a wonderful and excellent filter is very good BUT is used much less often and this does not mean that this filter is less worthy.

It really could be one UP or many UP´s.

Another thing that I think I did NOT explain before is that the UP could NOT be just ONE reward, I mean it could be made in the same way that EP, BUT also could be much better that each FF user could give his own UP to the filter he wants and so the filter could keep acummulating UP´s from different users even if it is EP, becomes popular or not, or it has HU or not.

So if one filter have many UP´s acummulated given by many users would mean it is liked and loved by that many users.

It will be up to FF user´s judge and taste and not ONLY buy it´s high usage or FF Editor´s decision.

Instead of waiting for FF decision to give an EP that are very exigent or wait a very long time until getting the possible HU reward, the UP reward could be another way to motivate, stimulate and encourage the author and feel that his hard work is valued and worthy to more persons.
