I've seen snippets being mentioned everywhere, but how do you actually submit one to the library?

When you Summit your filter... there is a part of the summition where you have to choose a catagory for the filter to go in... select the 'Snippet' catagory and your filter that you have just summited will be summited to the Snippet catagory in the filter library.

and for anyone else that might be unsure what a 'snippet' is, it basically means a short part of something, or a small portion of something larger, e.g "Here's a snippet of the show that will air this fall.".

in FF use, it's a small routine either taken from another filter or made to be a small routine to be used as a part of another filter and isnt designed to stand alone, necessarily, as a full texture or image filter.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Please, where is the information about HOW to use in the right way those snippets, I mean for making your own filters. You just give credit to the snippet author in your own filter ?

SpaceRay, Snipets are for anyone to use in their own filters. It's just good practice to give credit to the one who made the snippet.
