I have used the well done Sjeiti´s FF Batch online application and have found some things I do not know.
I have seen it does support FF 3.0 filters but not all of them, I mean not the ones with color control with allowed images or some kind of check box settings. Perhaps this is my own fault that I do not know how to use it, sorry if this is the case. This happens even on filters of FF 1.0 with some checkbox controls Thanks ![]() |

Yeah, I noticed the same issues with this online tool.
![]() I don't know if the OSX version has the same issues, maybe someone with a Mac can tell us. |

Although I think that all this settings values are ONLY needed if you are going to make to make an animation, because if you want to make a still image instead of a animation, it can take the settings from the filter preset and you would not have to change any of the settings to make it to work.
I am not interested in animation, and only in still images. Although the bad thing about this online application is that this is oriented and mainly used for making an animation, and not really thought for batch processing. I mean that this uses just ONE source image, as is the same way as the command line renderer that also does not allow to have multiple sources images wh ere the same filter effect could be applied. |

When I made this tool the ' checkboxcontrol' and the 'colormapcontrol' didn't exist yet. They do show up here because it just loops through the ffxml properties (so mac should have the same isseus). It shouldn't be that hard to implement, although it would take some time. The same goes for an extra input field at the slidercontrols.
Thing is I have no time whatsoever in the next two months. So either somebody else have a crack at this (http://xp-dev.com/svn/ffbatch/), or send me a reminder in two months or so. |

Sjeiti, when I mentioned the Mac version I ment FFBatchmaster, the downloadable version. As your version is java based, there's no reason for it to behave differently on different OSs.
In any case, your tool is still far better than having nothing at all. Last time I programmed anything (Other than a VCR) was more than 10 years ago, so I think I'll stick with a reminder in two months ![]() |

Ah ok, well since FFBatchmaster was made a little later but around the same time it will have similar issues because 'checkboxcontrol' and 'colormapcontrol' were introduced in later FF versions.
ps: mine was done with PHP and Javascript, not Java. Big difference, although for you it might be just potáto potà to ![]() |

I had a feeling it's javascript, but wasn't sure. Still, Javascript should behave the same on all OSs.
Right? ![]() |

So then you can only use filters that does not have any checkbox control or color map control (which there are lots of them, specially after FF 3.0), so this is limited to the simpler filters. Well if this is hard to do and would take much work and time, do not worry as I thought this could be simpler, and we can wait for the Jade Skaggs possible batch render tool or FF 5.0 (or FF 6.0 perhaps) and will we be able to do it. |
