This is cool.
You can also use it as finger painting on the window after blowing on it smile:)

Curious, original and interesting! Cool to see this in a program, as I have never seen something like this.

Any suggestion to get the best result on this ?

Thanks

"Spray Density" and "Spray Spread" control the density and the spread.
"Spray Attenuation" is slightly complex parameter. It controls both density and spread.

At first, you should change the silhouette size by using "Scale Controller". (If you want to.)
Secondly, you decide density and spread with "Spray Preview Mode". (Of course this mode is optional.)
And then, you control other parameters.

ex.
"Background Hour"
If you assume that the window is looked from outside to inside, I think you should change a background image to bright one with this parameter.
If your assumption is from inside to outside, you should change to dark one.

Thanks for your suggestions and advice

Now I have found why it did not work, and it was because this needs to have the shape that you want to paint cutout from the background and made on a transparent file.

So now I have been able to use it.

And here I have made a grunge heart and applied this filter and then to the result I have applied over it the Rain Day By Redcap filter

ONLY the transparent part of the image will be shown as painted by filter, as all that have any color will be cutout and show the background with this filter

This work in the same way as the carboard stencils found here

To made this one below I have used as source something similar to the heart on the right of the photo here below

BUT for writing text as morgantao have suggested as shown above the text must NOT be transparent, it must be the background around the text transparent

Oh, I'm sorry that I didn't explain how to start it.
Thank you for explaining that, and using my filters.

Your images are nice and interesting!
Especially, I like the 3rd image. smile;)

In the future version, I will add a new option to change the spray area.

- Add: "Fill Inside" control.
- Add: "Invert Mask Area" control that was proposed by SpaceRay.

(found these on update tab, while on filter editor)

Btw, very nice, simple and effective idea for filter, hd8fdkd! smile:-)

I think there should be in the filter info tab in FF, and on the online library the update notes just like in the editor and filter browser.
Doesn't have to be a complete dated history, but SOMETHING smile:|

This would be very helpful for authors (keeping track of changes) and users (decide if they should or should not download a new version, check release date's updates). Both on website and in FF itself, as a "history" tab or something like that...

I thought an idea.

Every filter's author use the first comment space as editable free space.
Since it is anytime editable, we can write version history, tips, tutorials, and so on.

How does that sound?
