WOW!!! YEESSSS !!!! Finally your bomber filter of multi images is available in FF 3.0 !!!!
![]() I can´t make any more comment now as I will have to try it and see what results I can get, but I wanted to give my congraulations and thanks you very much for making this awesome filter, that can be VERY USEFUL AND INTERESTING !!!!!! Pleasy anymore hints and tips on how to get the best results ? What resolutions would it be best for the source images ? I want it to be high resolution result (4000 x 5000) I know that to get the best results the images used would be much better if they have a transparent background and are not with squared borders. I will see how it works and then I will comment more Thanks a million again for making this filter. I really love it. (well from I have tested from the previous beta version that you have put before in the forum) |

Thanks again Spaceray..Yep finally got to submit this one..
![]() ![]() The images will come out better without a square boarder around them...The boarders will show up in the results and look terrible,,But suppose you could always render more images and place on top of that... ![]() ![]() I use images that come out to be no more then 10 inches....If you start out with pristine images then the result will be the same..... Another tip on using this filter is positioning of the images...Don't know if this hint is posted but......When clicking on the little icon of the image loaded in the settings section a window will pop up with further "Image Properties"..... Then another tip when using this filter is you can take a masked image and make a frame from that image.....Such as a square, circle and even shaped frames..... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Use one of the frame filters to create a frame like the one posted....Or create your own frame....Then use this as the "Main Image" in the filter....Then load the image you want for a frame in "Top Layer Image" Now select to view only the Main layer then position the Main Layer where you want..No select to view only the "Top Layer" then you should see your new image frame.....You might have to use the populate and repeat sliders to gather more images in one spot......
Heres the frame I used for the Main Image.. ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Thanks very much for your hints and tips for your filter
WOW !!!! I can´t believe this is true!! If you have put the ability to mask the images following a mask this is a really amazing option and idea, and very useful for making different kinds of creative works. SO this would be similar then to what Shape Collage can make with shapes and filling ? examples --> http://www.shapecollage.com/collages Shape collage software uses black and white masks to fill the black with multiple images and leave out white areas ¿ does your filter work in the same way ? If this is true, then I will rise much more my thanks to you for this wonderful filter. |

Yep there is a the ability to follow a mask...Its a more loose mask then that of Shape Collage....This filter does not work in the same fashion as that one....However shape collage does give one ideals for another filter...hehe ![]() ![]() Heres some samples so far of what I have.....Guess what I'm doing on the weekend. ![]() ![]() Heres from a heart.... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Hello, again
I have just beginning to use and test this lovely filter, and if I thought at first it was very well done, now after using it and have seen how it works and the great potential it has and how very well thought and very well constructed and the controls that it has I think that IS MUCH MORE AWESOME AND WONDERFUL than what I first thought and imagined. ![]() Great that you can have the design designed in layers and that you can view each layer separately or toghether so is easier to define and choose the best setting. Also very good that you can test the filter in low resolution as defined in the preset and then you can choose "New image" and choose the final size resolution you would like and the filter will resize all the design to the new resolution (well this not only happens in this filter) Here is attached one I have done Now after seeing better how it works and the masks feature I think that I will raise my thanks to you to 3 millions instead !! ![]()

Here is the same image as above but in bigger detail.
I did not comment before, that also I could not imagine that the seamless feature would be very useful with this filter and is great and adds much more power and makes it much better than switching it off, although of course this only works if you use square resolution (or integer aspect ratio) as usual. ALso you can try to change the width and make it bigger than the height and will also look very nice and get a different effect

Here is a higher detailed view of the above image, and I have seen that there is probably a bug or an error in the filter, because when I apply the black frames in the top layer the get CUT on two of the borders !!!
![]() The black frames I have put in the bottom layer are perfect and do not get cut. I have put some white arrows to show wh ere can be seen that there is missing part of the thin white frame. ![]() |

Nope no bug or error...
![]() ![]() I have used your screenshot fr om above and marked on it "A" and "B".....To get rid of that and show all of that image use the slider marked "A" or "Layer Preview"..I don't know which layer is getting cut off but use that slider until you only see that layer....As I have posted in the filters info.... #1...All the layers composited together..... #2...Main Image.... #3...Top Layer..... #4...Middle Layer.. #5...Bottom Layer.. Once you have just that layer showing use the dials marked "B" or "Layer Offset X and Y" for that layer to move the image horizontal and vertical...This should bring the image back to wh ere its not cut off.....You can also take that image and shrink it some in a graphics app and reload it...... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
