NOTE: Best effects are found in the 1 to 8 pixel size range. Also, many other unique effects can be found using alternative lighting.

i like the whimsical nature of #3. one and two are nice also. 4 reminds me of those chiseled oils... very heavy application of oil paints. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I think I like #4 the best..It has more of a hangability quality to it.. 
Print it on canvas and put it in a frame.. Nice work StevieJ Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Thanks guys I like the 3D oil paint effect too....which was an unexpected, but welcome, side effect. Who needs to oil paint anymore....  lol...

Awesome filter Steve, I love the effects on all of them , but I really love the last one, it reminds me of Aurora Borealis crystals.

the bottles/vases/urns i see a lot of glass in those, but the flowers are more chrome. interesting that metal and glass seem to have a very nebulous line between them. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

True.....I can see that some form of smoked glass would be the next step past a deep refrective chrome...... I kinda like the low size chromatic effects from this one.....size, pixels @ 5 - 10.....  Steve

ah! so, it's 'how bout this one?'. ok, got it. i think the reason they went the way they did on the freepack is to completely avoid any copyright and hurt feeling hassles, if that helps. all the filters in the freepack were vlad's and kochubey's. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yeah, I caught that.....and I did feel a bit "slighted" that Kuchobey did that vartiation on one of my chrome effects without saying anything to me......but I'll get over it 
I think Vlad is giving me the snub and witholding acknowledgement on any of my filters until I break down and submit the type of texture filters that he likes.....while I'm refusing to do it until he gives me the "nod" (Editor's Pick) on at least one of my existing HU effect filters (I'm pretty sure that I have at least one that is worthy ) .....so it's a Mexican stand-off LOL......
So Vlad, "throw me a bone" on one of my existing filters (I'll even modify it to your liking).....and I'll start giving you some texture filters that will blow you away  LOL.....Steve

vlad doesnt seem to give many effect type editor's picks at all that i've seen. so, dont feel too slighted. i dont think he's singled you out. might be interesting to survey the library and see if that's really true. i thought some of sherri's were incredible and shld have gotten a nod.
but, good luck on the bribe If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
