I have seen this image that is attached below and thought that I this could be done with the Gradient Circles by Skybase perhaps making a selection, BUT I was wrong because I did not think that of course the textures will be cut at the selection edge and nothing will be out of the selection.
Perhaps there could be a way if the gradient circles filter did not make the bubbles/circles if the background was transparent. Another possible way is to render the textures and then delete by hand all the circle/bubbles that were outside of the ball but this is too time consuming and very difficult to do. Then I thought that could render a 2D version and use the Spherical Projection by inujima but this does not work as the bubbles/circles are deformed by the projection distorsion So I am asking if anyone knows if this example below really could be possible to be done in FF in some way ![]() |

well done Skybase! Very good how you have done this.
I am sorry that I am not an expert like you, and it could be easy for you, but I have been thinking on how to make a masking or something similar to make this and I have not yet found the way.
Well. let´s see if it is simple and easier, I could use the Get Alpha to detect the transparency and then be able to make a mask so it does not show the circles on the transparent parts. |

I know what happened I had put wrongly the blend component, Now I have fixed it and it works right in color as it should and with the shape that you would like
![]() BUT even then, Skybase the example you have put looks better than the one I have got, perhaps you have added additional gradient or have done something extra to get that better look ![]() |

So what have you changed?

The easy solution = feed the selection component or any black and white image into chance 1 and chance 2 inputs of the bomber. Optionally you can feed the selection or the mask into the size or opacity parameter and turn down size/opacity-chaos. So those would be the changes.
I took some time off and just rewired the filter with additional features and fixes. It'll be in the library within the week. ![]() |
