Hello, I have submitted today a new update for 10 Images or Photo Stripes Mix and then after, making an alternative version of the same filter to be submitted as a new filter, I remembered what Skybase Skybase and also Crapadilla told about making a filter Jack-Of-All-Trades, that can make many things can be something bad in the end if this gets in the way of the usability and make you feel unconfortable and make the filter more complex to use
So I want to ask What happens when submitted a filter update and want to change it again? When can you submit a new updated version? I suppose and think that knowing how is done the process, I must wait until the new updated is available and ready in the server and the FF filter library and then submit again the new update with the new changes and it will get updated again on the next day because if I submit the new update now it probably will mix with the previous update that is already in the queue and could there be a problem There is another thread that is also interesting and useful about the topic Master Filter or Jack of All Trades? I have thought now to make 2 different versions of the same filter, one for vertical designs and a second one for horizontal designs, because having both inside the same filter makes the filter more difficult to use and probably breaks the flow of easy usability. And so also each one can have it´s own specific presets and also se ttings without switchs. Also will make 2 other alternative versions with different features and so keep it more simple and easier to use ![]() ![]() Skybase was very right with all he have written in the link I have put above, and from now on I will try to divide a filter and make two different versions when the usability will be compromised. |
