With the rising 3D cubes trend I want to put here as inspiration, suggestion and model some of the nice 3D Cubes backgrounds designs I have found
Also click on each thumbnail to see it larger I know that all this images has been done in a 3D software, but after all the examples of the 3D cubes shown in the forums lately I now believe that some things like the ones below are possible perhaps in FF
http://wallpapers.free-review.net/wal..._Cubes.jpg This last one can´t be shown as image but click on the link to see it AND here is a very good one in VERTICAL (or top view) instead of perspective |

third and 4th seem very useful for lot of works, and also the others. It would be fine if someone can recreate all those images with FF.

Ghislaine, I agree with you, probably the most useful are the 3rd and 4th, although I like also very much the last two that are vertical and you could map animage overlayed over this 3D cubes and get a curious effect.

I have suggested this cubes as examples because I have seen the awesome and great work of ThreeDee (seen here in this thread)done to make this
and so is a possible suggestion to make similar models without having to use a 3D rendering software to make this designs. |

I have put this thread as a suggestion to make something similar inside Filter Forge and as a challenge, but suposse that it would be very difficult to make and slow to render the results.
I have just discovered a very easy and fast way to make all this kind of beautiful 3D rendering in a 3D software like Cinema 4D Please see this other thread Cinema4D Mograph tutorials for making abstract art and use FF textures AND so I think that using these tutorials and then using some of the Filter Forge textures available it could be good to have some cool and beautiful textured cubes landscapes |
