Predefined Adjustment Controls Snippet

August 30, 2012
This Snippet could help you to add the components of Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Gamma, Contrast and Levels to your own filters in a easy and fast way.
--------------
The good thing is that they are already predefined with the default values so they are "transparent" or invisible unless you change the values. Although the Threshold is variable
-------------
I thought this would be useful to have instead of each having to go the components panel and have to choose the components and then add the controls and configure the values that it takes much time that can be saved having this snippet.
---------------
You can replace the first image component with the source of your own filter source.
---------------
USING AS STANDALONE FILTER

This can be used also as a normal filter to adjust the source images that you wish as you do not need to add it to another filter to use this.

Organic Tangled Web Distortion

August 30, 2012
You can build tangled and complex organic webs distortions applied to your images and have LOTS and LOTS of possible combinations.

There is much to experiment using the first five sliders after offset, in many different settings combinations as you can see in the presets. Also please, use the "nex variant" button for more.

With the Web Curve Editor you can really customize very much the result and can even convert the black web into a white web, although if you do this be aware that the settings will get inverted (white is still black and black is the white lines)

ALSO you can use this filter to apply the tangled web WITHOUT ANY DISTORTION to the source image if you use the setting for both offset with a value of 50

This can be ALSO USED TO BUILD ORGANIC WEB TEXTURES if the source image is a plain white background.

The source image can be transformed into weird and strange background textures.

I want to thank Dr.Evil for the inspiration of the "Im shattered" Filter

Chromium Electroplating Technique

August 27, 2012
Chromium Electroplating is a technique of electroplating a thin layer of chromium onto a metal or plastic object. Althouhg in this case this filter applies a thin or thick layer or a bath of chromium to your images.
------
You can control the level and amount of chromium using the Size/Pixels setting and have a thick layer or have waves of chromium over your image.
------
Is VERY important the Directional Lighting as this can chnage very much the same image with the same settings.
-------
You can make the chromium cover your image or make a hole in the image from it, depending on the inverting effect and also of directional lighting.
--------
Also apart you can change the shadows and lighting by changing the colors in the first settings
---------
I recommend to use first one of the presets available and then after modify the settings from there
-------
I want to give great thanks to:

Redcap for Mercury Contamination filter
and also to
Jitspoe for Hard Shadows filter

Images Bands Collage Simple

August 27, 2012
This is a simpler version of the original Image Bands Collage, this one does not have the Crackles texturing option and have less settings and controls so it is easier to use if you want only to mix stripes and photo bands.

This filter will let you have uniform sized repeating bands of 5 colors or images of your choice. I have oriented it mainly for making photo bands collages.

You can decide if the bands are vertical or horizontal and they will be seamless tiling.

I have put 20 presets BUT there are much more possible combinations.

If you use the "next variant" button and get cut images stripes, just move the slider of the "size pixels" to the right at maximum value to recover the full image of stripes.

I must give congratulations and a huge thanks and credit to:

Morgantao for helping me much to make this filter and for his snippet of Multicolored Bands.

And of course also to Indigo Ray for his excellent Crackles Snippet

Photoweave 2 grids of stripes

---------------------------------
Also I have added another 2 stripes more to make textures with 4 differents stripes, instead of having only 2, and added some other ways to combine both of them.
__________________________
Also the shadow can now be made more stronger and intense.
--------------------------------
You can now load different image textures to make different kinds of textured stripes with the weave and combining them
_____________________________
You can choose to have different sizes of grid stripes, number 1 is the one on the front and number 2 is on the background.
-----------------------------
Thanks very much to Answerso for his Epileptic Salvation filter

10 Images or Photo Stripes Mix

August 27, 2012
I have seen an advertisement with 10 images in thin stripes so I wanted to make the same effect in Filter Forge.
--------------
You can choose 10 different images and load them into the filter and choose different settings combinations to mix them as you want
___________________
The first preset is the one with the 10 images exactly in the same size, the others are different combinations of different of different stripes sizes and rotations.
---------------------
It does not need to be 10 different photos or images, you can, of course, also repeat some of the images if you want and have different parts of the same image, and you could combine also for example 3 photos in different stripes
___________________
I want to update this filter later with the feature of moving each image under each of the stripes so you can position the bit of the photo you want under the stripe you want.
_______________
Also want to add some texturing to photos and grunge.

Images Bands Collage

I have oriented it mainly for making photo bands collages, and have added the choice also to mix them with Crackles textures.

You can decide if the bands are vertical or horizontal and they will be seamless tiling. You have also the choice to rotate 360º the Crackles independently but in this case the texture will not match in seamless tiling.

The blend modes you choose are VERY IMPORTANT and will change very much the result you get, so you can test lots of possible combinations.

I have put 20 presets BUT there are much. much more possible combinations, also mixing different crackles, with the photos and the blend modes toghether.

I must give congratulations and a huge thanks and credit to:

Morgantao for helping me much to make this filter and for his snippet of Multicolored Bands.

Photo Crystal Marbles Maker

June 22, 2012
Be able to generate unique simulated 3D shiny transparent crystal marbles customized with your own photos or images with spherical projection over another 3D ball inside.

You can move and customize the inside photo in many ways, move it, rotate it and multiply it

You can adjust the vignette shadow inside the ball, and even you can make a high shadow so this could be converted to something near similar to an eye.

In this filter is very important the Lighting setting tab and must be used to change the crystal of the ball texture reflections.

Also if you select in the Lighting settings tab the "Lighting ambience" by selecting with the mouse the outer round circle, you can colorize and change the colors of the marble, see preset 3.

This filter would not have been possible without the help of:

Tergiet and his Marvelous Marbles filter
Inujima and his Spherical Projection filter

Thanks very much Tergiet and Inujima for making this two great and well done filters.

Spirograph Break Out by SpaceRay

May 18, 2012
Please do not judge this filter through what you can see on the main thumbnail, I have worked to make this much more than this as you can see in the presets included.

Spirograph Break out means that I have given the control to customize and be able to release and separate all the parts involved and that they can be free to make much more things than a spirograph shape.

So please experiment and make multiple combinations with all the controls available I have put and see how they work to be able to go much beyond the Spirography. The easy way is to use the "NEXT VARIANT", or start with a preset, and customize fr om there

I must thank to Uberzev that made a simple Spirograph filter wh ere the first 3 presets belong to him, BUT this was an unreleased and unfinished filter and had none of the controls, and I thought that this deserved to be shown to the world, but just adding some controls and ONLY make the first 3 presets would not be enough and there could be much more than this

Photoblending bands Collage by SpaceRay

April 5, 2012
Here you can load six images or photos and mix them toghether in different sized transparent bands blending them into a collage.

You can try different ways to combine the different photos, or you can also put similar photos and use the Hue change to have different colors.

The Hue change is made indepently for each photo so you can chnage each of the bands in color indepently and not only the whole collage.

Use the white and black levels controls to give different effects in the blending and lighten or darken the result.

Also you can choose to change the blend mode. All the presets are made with Blend mode 5.

If you load and image as main source it will NOT be shown but will be taken the size of it, so you can use this to define the final size or use "new image"

I must give a huge thanks and credit to Mardar for her Scrapbook Sherbert filter, as this is based in his work.

5 Particles Bomber Snippet

February 14, 2012
Filter Snippet for FF 3.0 Bomber component that is already configured to mix, in a very basic way, 5 particles with 5 colors or 5 images, or a mix both of them

Then after this it can be customized and configured as much as you want, using the MANY options that the Bomber component has available, use the opacity and blending modes to mix together the 5 particles.

I would recommend if you want to have probably better effects, is to use PNG´s images with transparency borders, so you will not see the rough cut between each image.

There is NO main image source, and all images are through the 5 color controls available.

Please if you do not know how to use the Bomber component, you can learn how to use it in this help page --> http://www.filterforge.com/more/help/Components/Patterns/Bomber.html
