Dark Noise Reducer helps with High ISO, or low light images, particularly from Compact cameras by removing noise from only the darker areas of the image. It also handles negative scans. There are a lot of noise reduction applications around, but none I've found so far allow you to make your noise reduction dependant on the brightness of the picture. So I've made this. The main attributes are adjustable. This Advanced version is intended for cameras that have stubborn noise in colour information (ie not just luminance). I actually have one! Love it to death, but it is noisy. This version also adds a few additions, such as normal colour correction and balck/gamma level controls. When you use large amounts of correction you will need this. This filter supplements other products by reducing the noise in darker areas, and especially coloured noise, so they can give a more balanced result. The Show Alpha function lets you which image elements you are filtering.

Photo Effects, Color Correction, Noise Reduction.
