Description
An armature is an arrangement of lines that some artists use to lay out their paintings. Presets 1 - 3 are the 14 point armature also known as the Harmonic Armature. Presets 4 - 6 are based on Dynamic Symmetry. Presets 7 - 9 are a a grid of vertical and horizontal lines. Eight additional lines can be defined by the user. The free lines are not constrained to be on the grid. The addition lines are always lines from the grid.This filter can be used as a composition tool by creating an armature that does not show the original image. That armature also works well as a layer in PhotoShop.The filter can be used to analyse historic artwork to see if the artist has aligned elements with the lines and intersection points.This filter is fairly easy to extend to add more variants so users are encouraged to request additional features.
